Why is it that when you don’t speak a language the foreign announcement is five minutes long but the English version is only 30 seconds?   I’m pretty sure I’m missing out on crucial information.

So many stories to tell;  so many photos to download.

  1. Maybe they assume the people who speak English need fewer explanations? I know French can be convoluted and long when describing a basic boarding procedure, while Japanese is full of “pleases” and “Thank yous.” Hope you had a good flight back. After such a long journey, it’s always good to get back home.

    LOL re the language differences! Yes…it’s like that with subtitles, too, sometimes. And the “foreign” versions of our commercials.
