Iron Cove Bridge

Another of my questionable photographing whilst driving escapades……

This is the Iron Cove Bridge in Sydney  – I love the thick girders and the feeling that you are driving into a cage.

I love the fact that I am doing this at 80kph – 50mph,  without "incident" – note how straight I am in my lane in the rearview mirror!

  1. Ah, yes, I can see why you like the thick-girder look; its very different, and has a cool feel..makes me think of the damp iron smell of window bars after the rain. You must be an expert driver, but please stay safe! We're missing you here..when do you come back? πŸ™‚

  2. And … the girders make shadows on the road so it feels as though you are totally enclosed as you drive through it. Back in DC now so no car – no more dangerous photography for awhile 😦 – I suppose I could always stand in the middle of the road!

  3. LOL! Definitely! I drove around with my camera out and ready on the passenger seat – the only problem was that it turns itself off after awhile to conserve the battery so I had to keep turning it back on "just in case" .
