Nuts & Bolts

`

At work today, someone said to me:

"You look very well put together today".

It made me wonder  – do I normally look misaligned or cross threaded?

  1. That's hilarious! It always makes me wonder when once in a blue moon somebody says "You're hair looks good today." Well does that mean every other day has been a bad hair day and I just didn't know it? LOL!

  2. In a world of black, taupe and gray, I'm sure you were quite fetching in green. People do love to see vibrant colors, but not a lot of folks have the nerve to wear them — especially in a traditional office setting. Some people can carry them off, some can't. Obviously you can, so try another!

  3. LOL..I've never said that to anyone, but I will confess to thinking that certain people look 'well put together'..I think of it as the 'I designed my look today' look versus 'I just put on some clothes.'

  4. The funny thing is that last night I had in my mind what I would wear to work today but when I got up this morning I could not find the skirt! So I think of my look today as just thrown on…. LOL.

LOL, Purplesque, no one will ever think that of me. I am always thrown together unless it's a pre-planned event. That's why I like co-ordinated seperates. Boring, but easily grabbed and tossed on!
Emjay: I've gone through some striking colour phases but overall I tend to reflect the lower-key type of Canadian. Dress for comfort and practicality. But I love dangly, colourful earrings for everyday! 😉

  6. Earrings are the one thing I am conservative with. I tend to swap between a pair of silver studs and a pair of small rings – I have images of my lobes stretching down to my shoulders – LOL. My shoes are "comfy"!
